EVENT FAQs

Sofia is the closest airport (250km), with very regular flights. Plovdiv is much closer (100km), however flights are less frequent.

Our campsite opens 2pm on Wednesday and closes at 4pm on Monday

Check-in is open from 2pm on Wednesday

The festival ends after sunrise on Monday morning.

Meadows operates a fantastic shuttle bus service! Tickets are available now via this website and must be booked in advance.

General camping will have access to toilets nearby. We have hot showers around the site for which we charge 10 Leva (5 Euros)

For Sofia, it will usually take around 4.5 hours to/from the airport to the festival site; for Plovdiv around 2.5 hour, however, we do recommend to allow additional time on your return for check-in, traffic etc.

We do not have any area to accommodate camper vans – they would need to be parked in the main car park 3km from the village, however, this carpark has no facilities.

Sorry no not yet. This is an over-18s event.

Due to the nature of our surroundings, the local’s livestock is allowed to roam freely around the village. Previously we have had issues with dogs chasing local livestock so we have adopted a NO PET POLICY.

Yes – please bring your charger and adapter to the info tent.

You can in camping areas, but you won’t be able to bring alcohol into the main festival site, there are plenty of bars on site.

Totally depends on where you are staying, although you will always be close to a festival shuttle stop to take you within a short walk to the festival site. Most camping areas are within a 15 minute walk to the festival site.

We have a secure lock up at our festival site which for a small fee we can store your belongings whilst the festival is taking place. Please go to the info point at the festival near the main bar.  Lockers are large enough to hold a laptop computer.

Yes, we have fresh water points all over our site. Please bring a reusable water bottle with you or purchase one of our beautiful Meadows flasks.  These water points are for drinking water only, please do not use them for showering underneath, we collect rainwater for all of us to wash with..

There are plenty of toilets located around the site. If you would like to use our eco showers there is a small charge.

The Map changes year to year as we add to the site - we will email a map to you in a newsletter closer to the festival date.

Yes, you can bring your own food to the festival and camping areas, provided it is not wrapped in non-recyclable packaging. Note that we do have a delicious array of affordable food options at the festival, including numerous vegetarian and vegan options.

MONEY & CASH

All prices will be in Bulgarian lev. Note that our traders inside the festival will only accept contactless payments; cash will no longer be accepted inside the festival. We will have contactless card terminals all over site for use at our bars, food and other traders.

Each year we have one cash machine installed in the village, however this is used frequently and will not always be stocked. The nearest town with cash machines is Smolyan, which is a 20min drive from the village. We therefore recommend that you bring enough cash with you for the duration of your stay (although it is cashless inside the festival site, some food&drink traders around the campsites will be cash only-it will be handy to keep some Leva in your pocket)

This of course does vary, however expect around 5 lev (€2.50) for a beer and food from our local traders around 10 lev (€5.00).

We have card terminals all over site which will accept any form of contactless card payment method.
