MEADOWS IN THE MOUNTAINS 2020 | Non-Food Trader Application 

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION MARCH 31ST 2020

MEADOWS IN THE MOUNTAINS IS A COMMUNAL SPACE AND WE NEED YOUR CREATIVITY AND ENERGY ON THE MOUNTAIN. 

ONE WAY OF GETTING INVOLVED IS BY SELLING YOUR  ART, CLOTHING, JEWELLERY OR WHATEVER CREATIONS YOU ARE CURRENTLY WORKING ON. 

WE FAVOUR HANDMADE, ETHICAL AND SUSTAINABLE TRADERS, IF THIS IS SOMETHING YOU FEEL YOU CAN BRING TO OUR MOUNTAIN MARKETPLACE THEN GET IN TOUCH VIA THE FOLLOWING FORMS….

WE OFFER TWO TYPES OF NON-FOOD PITCHES AND THEY WILL BE SITUATED IN THE MUMMAR MOUNTAIN AREA OF THE FESTIVAL

FULL PITCH

- A full pitch costs £400 and allows 4 crew wristbands per stall.

- You will be provided with a wooden shelter that has three open sides and a roof (image below).

- The pitch has one plug socket, a light, a roof a wooden table and comes with a storage locker in close proximity. 

- You are expected to pack your stock down each night or secure it safely. 

- Please bring your own padlock to secure the storage unit and an extension cable if you wish to use lights or multiple plug sockets. 

- Stalls have to be open from 10am-9pm.

- We provide 4 crew tickets per stall so that you can maintain the 9am-9pm opening times. Stalls cannot be closed during those hours. 

- Please be conscious of our single use plastic ban. 

- We do not allow glass bottles and pre-bought alcohol on site. 

- LEAVE NO TRACE Stalls will be checked for rubbish after the festival. If you leave anything on the mountain we will not be able to invite you back. Respect the nature and respect the mountain

PIRATE PITCH

- A Pirate Pitch allows you to sell from a blanket within the flea market area. 

- A Pirate Pitch costs £100 per person. 

- Pirate Pitches are weather permitting and no shelter will be provided if it rains, please keep this in mind. 

- No table/ lighting or storage unit will be provided. 

- You are able to trade from 10am-9pm in the area we provide.

TRADER INFO
- Trader opening hours are 9am-9pm full pitch and 9am-6pm fly pitch (minimum requirement).
- Please bring lighting to trade after dark.
- We will be collecting a litter bond from all traders which will be returned after the festival providing your pitch is left clean, tidy and litter free.
- You will need to comply to the minimum opening hours required to get your deposit back.
- Single use plastic is banned from Meadows so we will be selecting traders that are eco conscious.

ACCOMMODATION
WE PROVIDE A FREE CAMPSITE SPACE FOR TRADERS NEXT TO THE FESTIVAL SITE.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CAMPING EQUIPMENT.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BOOK A HOUSE OR TENT PLEASE USE THE ONLINE BOOKING FORM VIA THE WEBSITE.

TRANSPORT
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE DRIVING A VAN OR CAR TO THE FESTIVAL AND REQUIRE A PARKING SPACE.


YOU CAN DROP STOCK OFF AT THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN BUT NO VANS/ CARS WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARK UP THERE FOR THE DURATION OF THE FESTIVAL.


THE SPACE FOR VANS TO BE  SITUATED IN THE CENTRE OF TOWN SO PLEASE BARE THIS IN MIND AS YOU WILL HAVE QUITE A COMMUTE UP TO THE FESTIVAL EACH DAY.


WE WOULD ADVISE BRINGING A TENT OR BELL TENT SO YOU CAN HAVE A MOUNTAIN BASE IN THE CREW CAMPING NEXT TO THE FESTIVAL SITE.
TRANSPORT TO THE FESTIVAL AND FROM THE AIRPORTS WILL BE AVAILABLE VIA THE WEBSITE.


WE REQUIRE YOU TO ARRIVE AT LEAST ONE DAY (WEDNESDAY 6TH JUNE)  BEFORE THE FESTIVAL TO SET UP & DECORATE THE STALL.

(Please bear in mind that you will only be able to drop stock at the top of the mountain 2 days prior to the festival starting, we will arrange a vehicle to support people that come by plane. Only 4 by 4 vehicles will make it up the mountain track! )


TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PLEASE LEAVE NO TRACE.


CURRENCY IN BULGARIA IS LEVS. YOU CAN TRADE IN ANY CURRENCY BUT BE AWARE THAT FESTIVAL ATTENDEES WILL BE ADVISED TO BRING LEVS.


NO GLASS BOTTLES ARE ALLOWED ON SITE.


THERE IS NO CASH POINT ON SITE OR IN THE LOCAL VILLAGE SO BRING ADEQUATE FLOAT.


YOU MUST BE ON SITE TO DECORATE AND SET UP YOUR STALL AT LEAST ONE DAY BEFORE THE FESTIVAL.

IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO SELL FOOD AND DRINK ON YOUR STALL AS A NON-FOOD TRADER
